KNOWLEDGE CORNER

Quranic Ayat/Verse

Consider, O Prophet, the Day We will call against every faith-community a witness of their own. And We will call you to be a witness against these people of yours. We have revealed to you the Book as an explanation of all things, a guide, a mercy, and good news for those who fully submit.

(Surah An-Nahl, ayah 89)

The Quran is for everyone, just as the final Messengers teachings are to perfect religion and applicable to all. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) reaffirmed the Abrahamic religions before him and completed Gods Message with Islam. Find peace through Islam and be surprised by how if you only know the Gospel or Torah, then you havent read the complete story.

Hadith

Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (RA) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah () said: "Alternate between Hajj and Umrah; for those two remove poverty and sins just as the bellows removes filth from iron, gold, and silver - and there is no reward for Al-Hajj Al-Mabrur except for Paradise."

(Jami`at-Tirmidhi 810, Book 9, Hadith 2)

Subhan'Allah what a beautiful prescription for attaining Paradise and removing sins! May Allah bless the entire HOTD community with the ability and means to complete Hajj and Umrah and alternate between them - Ameen!
