Referring to Israel as an apartheid state, South Africa requests the following provisional order: The State of Israel shall immediately suspend its military operations in and against Gaza. 

The Biden administration supports Israels military operations with weapons, logistics, a massive naval presence, and by repeatedly vetoing UN resolutions for a ceasefire. Almost all members of Congress reject any conditions upon more billions to Israel. So we need our local governments to stand up against the slaughter.

One precedent for a local resolution is that on August 18, 2022, the Frederick Board of Aldermen approved the Back from the Brink resolution that calls for the Federal government to "take US nuclear weapons off of hair-trigger alert; ... and actively pursue a verifiable agreement among nuclear-armed states to eliminate their nuclear arsenals."
