We are super excited to welcome you all to the EID bazaar at ISD!
Alhamdulillah, we have 25 vendors confirmed for the bazaar offering a variety of ethnic clothing, jewelry, gifts etc. Complete your Ramadaan and Eid shopping for the whole family while having fun and enjoying delicious cuisine. Did we mention our famous BBQ? We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday, In Shaa'Allah.
No rain is expected this Saturday but the weather will be on the cooler side. Please dress accordingly with extra layers, especially for the children.

NEW Friday Prayer Timings
Effective Friday March 17th, 2022
There are new Friday Prayer Timings starting Friday, March 17th. The first kutbah will begin at 1:00 PM and the second kutbah will begin at 2:10 PM.

Making the most of Ramadan

Ramadan holds a sacred place in the heart of the believer. Join us for a Ramadan ready session on the fada'il and blessings of Ramadan. Learn how you can make the most out of this month and use it to elevate your spirituality.
These special Ramadan ready sessions are with Riwaq Institue in partnership with ISD and the Dover Masjid. All sessions are held via zoom. Please save the dates below:
1. March 17th at 6:00 PM — Ramadan Practical Practices with Imam Morshad
2. March 18th at 7:15 PM — Making the Most of Ramadan with Shiekh Hadi
3. March 20th at 6:00 PM — Fiqh of Ramadan General session with Imam Arqum
4. March 21st at 6:00 PM — Fiqh of Ramadan Sisters with Shaykha Ayesha Hussain. This session will only deal with fiqh related to women’s issues and not general fiqh for both. Please attend general session for regular rules on fasting.

Grand Opening

Chief guest, Harun O Rashid will be delivering the Friday kutbah at the grand opening of Masjid Ar Rahman. You are invited with your friends and family. There will be arrangment for sisters. Lunch will be served after Jummu'ah Prayer. (Muslim Ummah of North America)

Sisters Weekly Halaqa Series
Ramadan Timings: Saturdays at 2:00 PM (after Dhuhr)
Our in-person halaqa series for the Sisters of our community will continue during Ramadan. The Halaqa will be held on Saturday after Dhuhr prayer. Sisters Halaqa on Tuesday, March 21st is still on.
The program is led by Sr. Nadia Sherif and it will help our community sisters level up in all areas of life. We encourage sisters ages 21 and over to join us on Saturdays after Dhurhr during Ramadan.
Topics covered will include:

Forgiveness
Kindness
Manners
Marriage
Patience
And many others
Sr. Nadia Sherif studied Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at UCLA and is currently in a master's program studying Islamic studies at Manara College. In 2016, she left her corporate management job overseeing 24 states' Compounding Pharmacy Quality operations to open a real estate brokerage in North Wilmington and sold it in January of 2022 to focus on her studies. She is also a real estate investor that holds and flips properties. Her faith and her desire to make a positive contribution in the lives of people are her two passions.

Non-violent Peacebuilding in Israel and Palestine:
A Movement Beyond Borders

Join Westminster Presbyterian Church and Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP) for a conversation about non-violent peacebuilding and advocacy related to the Israeli occupation of Palestine. You will hear from Michael Feigenbaum and Ismail Assad from Combatants for Peace about how they were compelled to break cycles of violence in Israeli and Palestinian society and work for collective peace and justice. Kyle Cristafalo from Churches for Middle East Peace will speak about the role the American church plays in advocating for a just peace in Israel/Palestine.
