ISD General Assembly Meeting

AsSalaam Alaykum Dear ISD Members,
The Islamic Society of Delaware would like to invite the General Assembly Members for a meeting on Saturday, January 20th at 1:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and seek approval for an important resolution.
Resolution: Seek Approval from General Assembly for purchasing the properties adjacent to ISD for the purpose of expanding the ISD Campus.
Further details regarding the proposed resolution will be provided during the General Assembly meeting that is planned to be held on January 20th at 1:00 PM. The voting will be conducted electronically between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM. All e-ballots will be sent by 2:30 PM to paid members’ emails on file.
We hope to see all of our General Assembly Members at the meeting taking an active role in making the important decision regarding ISD.

March On Washinton For Gaza

The buses will arrive at Masjid Ibrahim, ISD at 9:45 AM and will leave promptly at 10:15 AM. The buses are scheduled to leave DC at 5:30PM or earlier, if necessary. The estimated arrival time back to ISD is after 8:00PM.
-Cost is $10 per person
-No one under 18 allowed

ISD Sisters Youth Halaqah
Every other Friday | 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Host, Nadia Sherif and sisters, will be conducting a halaqah for sisters youth, ages 13 to 19. It will be held every other Friday in the mezzanine area. There will be no halaqah on Dec. 29th. The program will be resuming on Jan. 5th.

Weekly Khatira
Every Thursday after Isha Prayer
A weekly khatira will be presented by two ISD Youth, Br. Talha and Br. Saad. They will present for only 3-5 mintues on Thursdays after Isha Prayer.
New Muslim (Revert) Mentorship Program
A reminder that The ISD Dawah team is relaunching the Living Islam program for revert Muslims and a more robust Revert brother/sister program where everyone is assigned a mentor for the first six months to assist with full assimilation into the community and practice all the tenets and pillars of our beautiful religion.
We also plan to host Shahada Socials where our revert brothers/sisters get to meet each other and members of the Revert Team and Shaykh Hadi.
To help us plan for Revert programs, please fill out and submit the Google form above if you have accepted Islam in the last 10 years.
Also please share this info with any New Muslims who would benefit from this program.
