📢 ISCJ SITE CONSTRUCTION NEWS
Immediate What: Heavy trenching and milling work is in progress. MPR Walk-in Entrances are not available! Do not move traffic cones, they are meant to keep cars out of certain areas!
Summer What: ISCJ Major Infrastructure Campus Construction is now underway. Work is happening on Rt 1 side parking lot and Promenade side parking lots (Areas 1 and 2 in diagram below). This is to create new parking lot, underground utility work, new detention basin and landscaping. These are all township requirements for the eventual work for NUI expansion, Sports Facility, Senior Housing and Masjid expansion.
When: From now until end of August.
Where: Rt 1 side parking lot and promenade side parking lots.
Impact: Vehicle Entrances, exits, traffic patterns and pedestrian flows for daily prayers, programs and events will be impacted as work progresses. We will have less parking spots during the summer. Please be prepared to utilize Rt 1 NUI School Road entrance and Promenade entrances as Rt 1 Masjid entrance will be closed with frequency.
Temporary Juma Change for the Summer: We added a 215pm Juma, so we will now have 12pm, 1pm, 215pm and 315pm Juma prayers.
Community Ask: We apologize for this inconvenience. Please come early, exercise caution and be patient. Drive slowly in dirt/coned areas.
