Program details:
Muslim Parenthood Series is a free new series of monthly talks dedicated for Muslim parents and parents to be. We will carefully craft topics, talks, and interactive activities for parents to promote education and family engagement in a safe environment. In these sessions, parents will hear from community, social, and subject matter experts and researchers, share their experiences and best practices (if they feel comfortable), and ask questions.

Topic: The stigma of mental health across cultures.
Speaker: Alaa Tello, M. Ed., Currently working as an Outpatient Psychotherapy Specialist.
Profile: Alaa Tello provides individual and couple therapy, as well as mental health counseling. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts - Boston, and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College.
