Fasting the Day of Ashura !

As Salaamu Alaykum dear beloved ISBCC Community,
The Prophet encouraged us to honor Ashura by fasting, which expiates sins of the past year. This day marks Allahs favor upon Prophet Musa (as) and his followers when the Red Sea parted, leading them to liberation from Pharaoh.
The Prophet advised us to join the fasting of Ashura with fasting the day before or after. May we spend this day in sincere fasting, seeking His Forgiveness, reflecting on our need for salvation, and remembering Allah's power to resolve our affairs.
