Speaker Profile:

Hamzah Henshaw was born and raised in Boston and became Muslim at the age of 15. He graduated from Harvard in 2001 and has spent the past 20 years in the field of education in the Middle East, North Africa, and the United States. For the past 11 years, he has worked at Al-Noor Academy in Mansfield, New Englands first full-time K12 Islamic school. There he has helped place hundreds of Muslim teenagers in many of the top American universities. He founded Five Before College this year to help bring his expertise in college placement to the Ummah as a whole. He helps Muslim teenagers navigate the US college application process and maintain their Islamic identity. FBC preaches the importance of starting early, five years before college and uses the Five Before Five hadith as a framework for ensuring the development of well-rounded Muslim teenagers that will be exceptional college candidates.
