ISB accepting candidates to join Board of Directors

Respected members of ISB community

 

The Islamic Society of Boston is seeking applications for appointment to a 2 year term to serve as a volunteer member of the Board of Directors.

 

The Board of Directors are entrusted with the task of supervising the operations at the ISBCC Roxbury and ISB Cambridge locations.  Three (3) positions are currently open.

 

The qualification being sought includes demonstrated professional experience in one or more of the following and a deep commitment to serving the American Muslim community through ISBs mission and vision. 

 

1. Administrative or management experience in a non-profit, Islamic or other organization.

2. Strategic planning, project management, budgeting or marketing experience.

3. Accounting and finance.

4. Law, insurance or facilities operation.

5. Human resource management.

6. Civic, political, social work and/ interfaith work.

7. Fundraising, branding, information technology, media communication.

Note: current or potential vendors of ISB and current employees of ISB are not eligible.

The application deadline is 1/28/2024.  Candidates will be selected by the ISB Board of Trustees.
