Black History Month at ISB

February marks the month when the ISB community celebrates Black History Month. During this month we will be spotlighting community leaders nominated by YOU!
We invite you to join us in this celebration by nominating an individual who has made a difference in your life or the lives of people around you. 

In February ISB will be celebrating Black History Month. We are proud to acknowledge and celebrate the rich diversity of our community. In honor of Black History Month, we will be spotlighting and honoring our community leaders whose contributions are immensely appreciated and valued. We believe that recognizing our heroes is the key to fostering inclusivity. 

In January, our Muslim community and the broader Boston community experienced the loss of a dear and esteemed brother, Muhammad Ali-Salaam. His valuable contributions to the community and the lives of those around him were truly appreciated. May Allah grant him peace and reward his noble deeds.  

We are fortunate to have a community filled with talented individuals who embody values such as justice and compassion. We invite you to nominate someone in the community who has made a difference in your life and the lives of people around you. The person you nominate can be your teacher, mentor, doctor, imam, or any field of work in Boston and the Greater Boston Area. We want to celebrate those that make a difference!

**Each week during February we will celebrate some of the community leaders that have been nominated showcasing the contributions they make to the community. The nomination process is simple, please send in your nomination in the form below before February 5th, 2024.

*Nominations submitted after February 5 will be part of next years celebration.***
