Remember to fast on the Day of Ashura, coming up this week!
Plus, best days to fast throughout Muharram, starting THIS Monday!
Assalamualaikum,
In this beautiful month of Muharram that begins the Islamic year 1446, the Day of Ashura (Muharram 10th) is the day that our Prophet (SAW) said, "Fasting on the day of Ashura is an expiation for the preceding year and the following year."
In addition, the Prophet (SAW) recommended that the Ummah also fast on the 9th and 11th days of Muharram as well, giving us the option to follow the Sunnah and fast either the 9th and 10th, or the 10th and 11th, inshaAllah!
Alhamdulilah, these days are approaching, beginning this Monday, July 15th!
Plus, these blessed days are followed by the white days of the month, giving us the option to fast multiple days from July 15th to July 20th, inshaAllah.
May Allah (SWT) accept our fasts!
