Last call for Zakat al Fitr
Zakat al Fitr is due before the Eid prayers. We strongly encourage everyone to give your zakat before Eid day so that ISB can deliver on time to families in need.
Todays Solar Eclipse
Join us today as we revive this Sunnah of the Prophet (saw) by praying Salatul Kusoof. If you are praying at home, please offer two regular units of prayer.
The Astronomy Club will also have a special solar telescope setup to view the sun safely before the eclipse begins (see details). It is still recommended to bring your own eclipse glasses.

Preparing for Eid al Fitr
The day of Eid will be celebrated either on Tuesday, April 9th or Wednesday, April 10th. Islamic Society of Baltimore (ISB) follows global moonsighting and will announce Eid based on verified moonsighting across the globe.
