Assalaamu alaykum!
Sr. Haja Habebah Essa Rashid, wife of Br. Adli Rashid, sister of Br. Firas Essa, the mother of Rashid, Rushdi, Laith, Reem, Melaak, and Yamamah, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon (to Allah we belong, and to Him we return). Born in Lifta, Palestine, Sr. Rashid was 67 years old. We ask Allah (swt) to grant her Jannatul Firdaus and give patience to her family.
Salat al-Janazah will be held inshallah today Monday, May 13, 2024 after Zohr prayers at 1:40 PM at Masjid Alomary, 4600 Rocky River Dr, Cleveland, OH 44135 followed by burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011.
'Aza will also be held today Monday May 13, 2024 between 4 and 8 PM at the Islamic Center of Cleveland, 6055 W 130th St, Cleveland, OH 44130 .
