TARAWEEH CHILDCARE SERVICES

Dear ISAK Community,

As-salmu alaykum wa-rahmatullhi wa-baraktuh!

ISAK extends warm wishes to you and your family for a blessed Ramadan! We express gratitude to Allah (swt) for granting us the opportunity to witness this sacred month. May we utilize it to its fullest potential through our acts of worship.

Taraweeh will be onSunday, March 10,insha'Allah. For members bringing underage children to Taraweeh, please be mindful that ISAK has a Child Safeguarding Policy that must be followed.

In compliance withISAKs Child Safeguarding Policy, ISAK policy is that children should not be left unattended at the Islamic Community Center at any time, whether in the parking lot or the buildings. Children must be enrolled in official programs or be with parents.

ISAK is offering several free options for supervised care of children:

  1. The conference room for nursing mothers and mothers with children under the age of 4 years

  2. The nursery room for childcare services of children, ages 4 - 6. To register your children, please click here!

  3. The Youth Taraweeh Marketplace for youth, ages 7 - 17, will be available after the first eight (8) rakaat. To register for these activities, please click here!

Please come early to register your child for their age-appropriate program. Once your child is registered, they will receive a wristband that they must wear during Taraweeh. Children without a wristband must be with their parents and may not disturb the Taraweeh prayers.

Any child left unattended will be placed in the age-appropriate child supervision room, and the parent will be asked to complete the form before picking up their child.

Questions regarding Ramadan Taraweeh Childcare may be sent to[email protected].

Thank you for your cooperation as we implement this policy.

Sincerely,
Islamic Society of Akron and Kent
