Community-Wide Womens Appreciation Dinner

Honoring Palestinian Womens Strength and Culture

Thank you to everyone who registered for the Community-Wide Womens Appreciation Dinner. All dinner tickets have been distributed.

Due to limited capacity of the Community Hall, ISAK can not accommodate anymore guests.

InshaAllah, other womens events may be planned during the spring or summer so ISAK can have this event out in the Pavilion where more guests can be accommodated.

Community Member Sarah Shendy Profiled in Documentary

Our local hero, Sarah Shendy, was recently profiled in a short documentary by Elsaha.com (owned and managed by Middle East Broadcasting Networks, aka MBN).

This was my favorite project to work on so far because I got to highlight my family. And my family and my parents sacrifice are the reason why I am where I am today. This was a huge thank you to them. Sarah Shendy

Cleveland Botanical Garden: Frost

Join the Cleveland Botanical Garden in their Frost event until the end of the year. The organizers transform both indoor and outdoor gardens into a themed world featuring ice arches, lights, flowers, and larger-than-life animals. This is not a free event. Register using the link above.

Muslim Youth Leadership Symposium

CAIR Ohio is organizing a Muslim Youth Leadership Symposium scheduled to be held in Cleveland next month. High school students are encouraged to apply for this event by using the registration link above. This symposium offers a valuable experience for high schoolers to enhance their leadership skills and build their resumes. Limited seating is available.

Family Fun Films

Families are invited to a Movie Marathon in which "Ice Age", a prehistoric adventure suitable for all ages will be playing. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets for a laid-back movie experience. Complimentary popcorn will be provided. This is a chance for families to spend a relaxing day together during winter break.

Great New Years Eve Race

When: Sunday, December 31st, 4 PM

Community members are encouraged to join an event that combines a casual run with a stroll through Stow's neighborhoods. Whether you're an occasional runner or just looking for a laid-back activity with loved ones, this event caters to a range of preferences. Take in the scenic course, secure a custom soft t-shirt (for the first 300 registrants), and consider supporting a meaningful cause by purchasing a Grateful Runner Hoodie.

Take note of the convenience of packet pick-up and late registration at Ritchies Sporting Goods on December 30th, or on-site registration at Stow-Munroe Falls High School on race day.

The National Lego Day celebration invites attendees to watch a Lego movie and partake in building small projects from provided kits.
