Reminder: Keeping the Masjids clean!!!
Assalamu Alaykum Dear Community,
Since we all pray together in the house of Allah and spend so much time worshiping our Lord, Allah (swt), we must maintain its cleanliness and purify it from impurities. We continue to witness so much garbage within the house of Allah, both at the new masjid and the old masjid, SubhanAllah!
As you are well aware, the Prophet () ordered us to clean the masjids of anything dirty. He praised those who followed this command and offered him/her prayers even after they passed away.
Furthermore, we should be mindful not to waste water; there are many partially used water bottles every night after the Taraweeh prayer. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do not waste water even if you are at a flowing river" (Tirmidhi).
Even if you were not the cause of this mess, please help get rid of any garbage you come across and encourage others to do the same. Let us earn good deeds in the month of Ramadan by preserving the cleanliness of our masjids. Jazakum Allah Khair! Ramadan Mubarak!
