[IFNNEWS] IFN Expansion Update

To all IFN community members. Aslamoalaikum.

 Islamic Foundation North members are being informed that the  Construction Bidding Process for the IFN Expansion project has started. Any member who is interested to recommend GC, or be involved in the construction in some capacity and is part of the community should contact the Chair of the Construction Committee at [email protected].  Any GC being interested on the project shall conform to the following minimum requirements:

1. The GC shall have and is involved in multi-storied Commercial Construction.

2. The GC must be registered to operate as a business in the State of Illinois.

3. Experience in the Islamic community will be an advantage.

4. IFN Construction Committee must get a chance to interview the potential GC, prior to 07/12/2023 Pre-Bid meeting.

5. The following datelines are important to comply with:

6. 06/23/2023 - Bid Invite: Invitation have been sent out, to three interested General Contractors for construction of the IFN Expansion Project.

7. 07/12/2023 Pre-Bid Meeting: This will be a meeting of interested bidders for orientation to the Bid, bid expectations etc.

8. 8/02/2023 Bid-Submittal date till 12 midnight.

9. Two weeks will be needed by IFN Construction Committeeto analyze the submitted BID, interview bidder/s and select the GC.

10. Deadline for submitting the GC is June 30 2023. anything after this date will not be entertained.
