Eid al-Adha Prayer at ICCNC

Eid al-Adha (Eid Ghorban) prayer and Khutbas (sermons) will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the ICCNC Prayer Hall. The Imam for the Eid prayer is Br. Ahmad Rashid Salim, and the Khutbas (sermons) will be in English. A continental breakfast will be served after the prayer.

Secure parking is available for the participants at the Scottish Rite Center Parking on 1558 Madison Street, Oakland.

Eid al-Adha and Eid Ghadir Picnic and Celebration at Lafayette Reservoir
Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Noon

Please join us on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at noon to celebrate the Eid al-Adha and Eid Ghadir together at the Lafayette Reservoir - Large Picnic Area near the Reservoir Playground. This is a potluck picnic so bring a food item to share with others!

Moreover, Mr. Khosrow Mansourian will give a short talk. Mr. Khosrow Mansourian is a civil society activist who founded the Society for the Protection of Disadvantaged Individuals (SPASDI) and Tavanyab. These two national NGOs provide professional social work and physical therapy services free of charge for those in need. For more than 30 years he has helped found branches of these NGOs in several Iranian cities, such as Bam, Karaj, Isfahan, Tabriz, Mashhad, Shiraz, and others. Mr. Mansourian is a social worker by training.
