RAMADAN MUBAREK

Dear ICC-GC respected members!                                                      

Assalamu Alaikum,
 
As the blessed month of Ramadhan is approaching, we wish all of our members a happy and blessed month of Ramadhan. May Allah (swt) accept our fasting and our prayers. We would like to inform you about the following important dates and events our Center is going to organize:

1. First day of Ramadhan is on Monday, March 11th. The first taraweeh prayer will be performed right after isha prayer on Sunday, March 10th at 8:30 pm and will continue to be prayed during the entire month of Ramadhan Insha Allah.
2. We plan to read one juzu of the Holy Quran every day after dhuhr prayer; thus reciting the entire Quran during the month of Ramadhan. We encourage our members to participate in this activity.   
3. Lailatu al-Qadr is on Friday, April 5th. Our imam, children and volunteers, will prepare a special program for this blessed night and all our members are invited to attend.
4. We will have potluck iftar in the social hall of our Center every Saturday, Insha Allah.
5. Eid al-Fitr is on Wednesday, April 10th Insha Allah. Eid al-Fitr prayers will be performed at the Islamic Cultural Center in Northbrook (1810 N. Pfingsten Rd), at 7:00 am. Please be aware that Eid al-Fitr program with recitation of the Quran, dhikr and takbeer will start right after the fajr prayer. Our Imam will deliver only one khutbah in Arabic, English and Bosnian.
6. After the Eid prayer, members of our congregation will visit the Skokie cemetery, where surah Yasin will be read at 9:00 am.
7. As previous years, The Islamic Cultural Center of Greater Chicago will be collecting zakat and Sadaqat al-Fitr. Please do not forget your religious obligation and pay zakat and Sadaqat al Fitr on time. The amount of Sadaqat al-Fitr is $20 per individual. However, you can pay more if you wish.

We use this opportunity to wish all of our ICC-GC members a happy blessed month of Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr Mubarak.

Cijenjeni lanovi, Esselamu alejkum!                                                
Esselamu alejkum,
 
Kako se dragi mjesec Ramazana pribliava, elimo svima vama da ga doekate u zdravlju, srei i rahatluku. Molimo Allaha d.. da primi na post i ostale ibadete. Ovim putem elimo vas obavjestiti o sljedeim aktivnostima naeg Centra. 

1. Prvi dan Ramazana je 11. marta (ponedjeljak). Prva teravija e se ako Bog da klanjati u nedjelju, 10. marta u 8:30, i klanjat e se tokom cijelog mjeseca Ramazana.
2. Takoe planiramo ramazansku mukabelu koja e se uiti svakog dana odmah nakon podne namaza. Kroz mukabelu nai lanovi i imam ue po jedan duz (20 stranica) i zavre cio Kur'an za 30 dana. Pozivamo nae lanove da uestvuju u ovoj aktivnosti.
3. Lejletul-Kadr je u petak, 5. aprila. Na imam, polaznici vjerske pouke i volunteri, pripremaju poseban program za ovu blagoslovljenu no, te pozivamo sve nae lanove da prisustvuju ovom dogaaju.
4. Svake subote, osim prvog dana Ramazana, u drutvenim prostorijama naeg Centra imat emo ako Bog da, potluck iftare.
5. Ramazanski Bajram je u srijedu, 10 aprila. Bajram namaz e se klanjati u naoj damiji u Northbrooku (1810 N. Pfingsten Rd, Northbrook) u 7:00 ujutro. Sabah namaz e se klanjati u 6:00. Bajramski program sa zikrom, ilahijama i predavanjem poet e odmah nakon sabah namaza. Imam e odrati hutbu na arapskom, engleskom i bosanskom.
6. Nakon Bajram namaza, lanovi naeg demata obii e mezarje u Skokiju, gdje e se prouiti Jasin u 9:00 ujutro.
7. Kao i prethodnih godina, Islamski Kulturni Centar u Northbrooku sakupljat e zekat i sadekatul fitr. Molim nae lanove da izmire svoju vjersku obavezu i na vrijeme izmire uplate zekata i sadekatul fitra. Iznos sadekatul fitra za ovu godinu je $20 po osobi, ili vie, u zavisnosti od mogunosti davaoca.

Svim lanovima Islamskog Kulturnog Centra u Northbrooku elimo sretne i berietne ramazanske i bajramske dane.
