in sha Allah Day of Ashura will be on July 16th, 2024.

We encourage all Muslims to join us in this celebration inshallah!

Fasting on the 10th of Muharram, known as Ashura, holds significant benefits and importance in Islamic tradition:

1. Forgiveness of Sins:According to a hadith, fasting on Ashura expiates the sins of the previous year. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "For fasting the day of Ashura, I hope that Allah will accept it as expiation for the year that went before" (Sahih Muslim).

2. Following the Sunnah:Fasting on Ashura is a practice established by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), making it a Sunnah for Muslims to follow.

Join us at ICC for iftar, on the Day of Ashura (Tuesday, July 16th, 2024), It's open to the entire community so invite your friends and family!
