We have made the following changes:

  1. ONCE THE PARKING IS FULL FOR 1st JUMAA, THE LOT WILL BE CLOSED!
  2. The second Jumaa at 2:30 pm will be in both Arabic and English to provide for accessibility.

    1. Jumaa (same timings as the ICK) - KCVI near Queen's University, 235 Frontenac St. (entrance on Earl St.); has bus accessibility. Parking is on the street. Bring a prayer mat.

    2. Jumaa (1:30 pm) - Mercy Musalla at the Multifaith chapel near the Military Family Resource Centre. 33 Lundy's Lane, Kingston. Parking is available and there is a bus route through the area. Bring a prayer mat.

    3. **(NEW ADDITION) ISK is pleased to announce that in addition to the other four locations, where currently Juma is offered, we have made arrangement additional location for Juma salat.

 Give 30 Program

- |  | ISK Masjid, 1477 Sydenham Road

During these hard economic times we can all understand that money may not be able to be given. An alternative could be reaching into the cupboard and giving what we may already have.

In Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, The best charity is that given in Ramadan. (Bukhari and Muslim).

In another Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, Charity does not decrease wealth. (Bukhari). This hadith highlights the benefits of giving to others, even if it may seem difficult or sacrificial.

Our Prophet (peace be upon him) also said, "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbour is hungry." (Bukhari).

We invite schools, community groups, businesses. and individuals to join the Give30 campaign this year. Be creative!
Lets all fight hunger together. Let us know your initiative at: http://tinyurl.com/Give30YGK
