Imam Abu bakar is teaching a class for adults on the life of the prophet SAW every Wednesday at the masjid. There has been extremely low turnout. Recently there has been emphasis that our community has reached 3000 people MashAllah, but less than 10 people come out to this class. Imam Abu Bakar puts a lot of effort into prepping these classes for our community. So please if we could all make the effort to attend regularly inshallah.

the class is every Wednesday inshallah after maghrib but can be moved earlier if requested.

For more information join the WhatsApp group for the class: https://chat.whatsapp.com/DNFi7JDf3SMEynTxGubagA

 Give 30 Program

- |  | ISK Masjid, 1477 Sydenham Road

During these hard economic times we can all understand that money may not be able to be given. An alternative could be reaching into the cupboard and giving what we may already have.

In Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, The best charity is that given in Ramadan. (Bukhari and Muslim).

In another Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, Charity does not decrease wealth. (Bukhari). This hadith highlights the benefits of giving to others, even if it may seem difficult or sacrificial.

Our Prophet (peace be upon him) also said, "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbour is hungry." (Bukhari).

We invite schools, community groups, businesses. and individuals to join the Give30 campaign this year. Be creative!
Lets all fight hunger together. Let us know your initiative at: http://tinyurl.com/Give30YGK
