Assalamu Alaikum,
MashaAllah the attendance to Salat Ul Jumaa and Taraweeh at the ICK has been amazing! Unfortunately, we continue to have difficulties with parking as we far exceed the designated parking spots on the property and this leads to a number of problems including potential safety concerns. We have made the following changes:
- ONCE THE PARKING IS FULL FOR 1st JUMAA, THE LOT WILL BE CLOSED!
- The second Jumaa at 2:30 pm will be in both Arabic and English to provide for accessibility.
- Here are the following main salawat locations in Kingston other than at the ICK that are available for everyone:
- Jumaa and Taraweeh (same timings as the ICK) - KCVI near Queen's University, 235 Frontenac St. (entrance on Earl St.); has bus accessibility. Parking is on the street. Bring a prayer mat.
- Jumaa (1:30 pm) - Mercy Musalla at the Multifaith chapel near the Military Family Resource Centre. 33 Lundy's Lane, Kingston. Parking is available and there is a bus route through the area. Bring a prayer mat.
- People are highly encouraged to car pool.
- The following parking policy will be applied:

There will be volunteers and occasionally paid people to control traffic on the property during key salawat and events.

29 March (Good Friday); a paid duty police officer will be hired to control traffic on Sydenham.
