ICNEV Events & Updates

Alhumdulillah! Marking the end of a very blessed Ramadan, we gathered as a community to celebrate Eid ul Fitr at ICNEV. We thank Allah SWT for our amazing community and our beloved masjid. JazakAllah Khair to Imam Sarya, Hafidh Umar, our volunteers, our staff and each and every one of you for making this one of the most blessed and memorable Ramadans we have experienced. May Allah SWT protect our Islamic Center and our community and bless us with another Ramadan. Ameen.

Subhanallah! We had a fun and festive Chand Raat (night of the moon) Henna Event for ladies & girls at ICNEV the evening before Eid.
JazakAllah Khair to our volunteers, organizers and everyone who joined us that evening. A special thank you to our amazing and talented henna artists without whom this event would not have been possible.

ICNEV Outreach

Assalamualaikum dear community members,

Adopt-A-Moon Update -

Another Ramadan was blessed upon our community where we continue to take care of our refugee brothers and sisters in their Eid ul Fitr celebration.
With the grace of Allah SWT, this Ramadan, 59 families (291 people) received Eid gifts, Quran, prayer rug, and house warming items.  Kuddos to sisters Farah Jeffery, Amber Shakaib, Zarina Barbur and Nishath Ahmed for another successful execution of the project.  And many thanks to our generous community and dedicated volunteers who wrapped gifts and delivered to families quite a distance away.  May Allah accept and reward your families.  Ameen

Do you have sewing or alterations needs?  Sister Rahimah Kazemi is a professional seamstress and tailor from Afghanistan.  A widow of six children, Rahimah and her adult son are working hard to make ends meet.  Please support her business with your sewing or alterations needs.  Rahimah sells food boxes at our masjid every other juma and lives near Chandler mosque.  You can text to Rahimah at 480-764-9837.
