Assalamualaikum Beloved Community Members,

Jazaakum Allahu Khairan for gathering at Highmark Stadium to perform Salatul Eid for Eid al-Adha. This event marked a successful collaboration between the various Masajid of Pittsburgh. May Allah keep the Muslims of Pittsburgh and beyond united. Ameen.

This wonderful collaboration resulted from the tireless efforts and coordination of the respective mosques, who shared the costs equally. We now need your help to cover some of these fees.

Your support will enable us to continue working together as one entity, representing and benefiting the Muslim ummah of Pittsburgh. The funds will also help us organize more events like this in the future.

Jazaakum Allahu Khairan.

Don''t forget to read Surah Al Kahf!

Jummahs for the Ummah

Take action each Friday for persecuted Muslims around the world.

Oh you who believe! Be standard-bearers for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, whether it be rich or poor; for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts, lest you swerve, and if you distort justice or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do. [Quran 4:135]

This Week's Actions:

Become familiar with your legal rights, and educate those in your life of their rights, through the Council on American-Islamic Relations Know Your Rights guides, available in a variety of languages. They address the rights of employees, students, people being approached by law enforcement, travelers, protesters, etc..
