Next Friday, March 17, join Young Muslims Jacksonville for our annual Ramadan workshop for our younger children (ages 4-13)! The program will take place at ICNEF after isha (7:45 PM) in the Multipurpose Room. The purpose of the workshop is to teach kids about the importance of Ramadan and why we fast, hoping to encourage them to fast throughout the month. After the lecture, candy will be passed out to the kids and we will start decorating the hallway to get ready for Ramadan. Young Muslims of Jacksonville will be hosting a masjid cleanup on Saturday March 18 at (10:00 AM) InshaAllah. The purpose is to serve the community and clean up our masjid that we use daily and get ready for Ramadan. For high schoolers, service hours provided if needed. Looking forward to seeing you all join us for the cleanup InshaAllah

Ramadhan Competition Rules and Regulations:
This competition is for students of:
- Group 1. Primary School level
- Group 2. Middle and High schools level
Material for the competition: (WILL BE PROVIDED)
Group 1.
- Salah: memorizing the whole Salah in Arabic with its translation
- All the basic Dua in Salah with translation
- Memorizing the ten last short Surah along with its translation
Group 2.

All the above as Group 1. plus:
-
Memorizing more detailed Dua in Salah which Prophet used to ask, along with translation

Memorizing Ayatul Kursi, last two Ayat of Surah Al Baqarah along with translation
Prizes:

Participants who will win first position will receive $500 in both groups each

Second position: $400

Third position: $300

Each participant in this competition will receive prizes
Enrollment: Last day of enrollment is Sunday April 2nd
