EID PRAYER VENUES GUIDLINESS
DAY OF ARAFAH

We are approaching the Day of 'Arafah, one of the most sacred days in the Islamic calendar. It is a day Prophet Muhammad said that a pilgrim's Hajj is going to 'Arafah. That land where Prophet Muhammad gave his farewell sermon.
To help you make the most of this special day, here are a few preparation tips:

Fasting: It is highly recommended to fast on the Day of Arafah. The Prophet said, "It expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year."

Dua and Supplication: Increase your supplications. The best dua is the dua on the Day of Arafah.( - None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and all praise and He is over all things omnipotent.)

Recite Quran: Dedicate time to read and reflect on the Quran.Learn about the Quran, its composition, and its teachings.

Performing Tahajjud: optional nightly prayer

ZIKR: Making allot of ZIKR

Taubah: Starting with sincere Taubah, returning to Allah and making sure that Hes pleased with us!

**Giving Sadaqa/Zakat:**Engage in acts of kindness and charity.

Takbiraat: Saying Takbiraat out loud, which will start from the Fajr of Arafah day, until all the Hujjaj leave Mina (Asr of 13th Zul Hijjah).
Remember, the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah arent over yet! You have time to reap the benefits through the above tips and more.

SACRIFICE

Days of sacrifice are: Starting after Eid prayer, 10, 11 and 12 of Zul-Hijjah until the Maghrib of 12th.

Sacrificing for the sake of ALLAH, a goat/ sheep/ ram, on behalf of all family members living under one roof, it is upon, everyone who has to pay Zakah, he/she must sacrifice, and we could have a share of seven persons in a cow or a camel.

Prophet peace be upon said: "Who ever could afford to sacrifice, but chooses not to, should not get close to our Masjid/ Eid prayer field".
