important update regarding ICN board of directors - 19 april 2024

Dear ICN Community Members,

Asalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

We trust this message finds you in the best of health and iman. We have some important updates to share with you regarding the ICN Board of Directors/Majlis-e-Shura.

As previously communicated, Br. Shafeek Abubaker has tendered his resignation from the ICN Board of Directors/Majlis-e-Shura effective April 10, 2024. We would like to extend our gratitude to Br. Shafeek for his dedicated service to our community and express our anticipation of continued collaboration with him in the future, in sha Allah.

In accordance with section 6.5.A.2 of the ICN Bylaws, we are pleased to announce that Br. Taha Ahsan has been appointed by the ICN Board to fill the vacancy left by Br.Shafeek and has accepted our offer to join the board. With years of experience volunteering at ICN, and his recent leadership as the Chairman of the ICN Youth Committee, Br. Taha brings valuable insights and a fresh perspective to the board.

Additionally, we would like to inform you that Br. Shahed Kadri is no longer serving on the ICN Board. We also extend our gratitude to Br. Shahed for his dedicated service to the ICN community and look forward to his continued contributions in the future, in sha Allah.

Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that Br. Arif Saleem has been appointed by the ICN Board to fill the vacancy left by Br. Shahed and accepted our offer to join the board. Br. Arif's volunteering experience at ICN, including his previous tenure on the ICN Board (ending December 2022) and his ongoing involvement with the Masjid Al-Noor (248th) Construction Committee, make him a valuable and timely addition to the

board.

Please join us in welcoming brothers Taha Ahsan and Arif Saleem as they embark on their new roles on the ICN Board of Directors.

Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your steadfast support of the ICN Board as we strive to honor our commitments to the community. A sincere gratitude to our dedicated volunteers, the backbone of ICN, for their invaluable contributions. Together, let's persevere in our efforts to serve and support our community with unwavering dedication.

We pray that Allah always keeps the ICN Board and the community which it serves on the straight path, purifies our intentions, unites our community and the entire ummah for His pleasure, protects us from the whisperings of Shaitan and the envy of the enviers, and rewards us with the highest level of success in this life and the Hereafter.
