The Prophet taught us how to respond to situations where things can be challenging and don't go our way. We should try and choose to respond to evil with good, and in sha Allah, Allah will support us, and if we have Allah's support and blessings, things will work out. However, if we respond to evil with evil, then we will lose ourselves, and the help and support from Allah. This requires patience and trust in Allah. May Allah make us all sources of goodness for ourselves and others and protect us from all types of evil.
Hadeeth of the Day
Abdullah ibn Amr reported that Allah has described the Prophet as follows:
I have called you a trustworthy man who is neither rude nor loud in the markets, nor does he return evil with evil, but rather he pardons and forgives.

Alhamdulillah, Tahfeedh-ul Qur'an program will be continuing with a summer program, for ages 6+ in sha ALLAH, from Monday, June 3, 2024 and will run through Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Classes will be held at ICN 75th St. masjid across 2 sessions, Monday through Thursday.

ICN Children Committee brings you 'FIRST LEGO LEAGUE ROBOTICS' - 10 session program for students currently in 3rd - 7th Grade to ignite their minds to explore the wonderful world of STEM.
Registration is required and is capped at 8 registrations each at Beginner & Advanced level. The registration fee is $100 for 10 sessions. Registrations will close once the program reaches it's intended capacity.

ICN Sports Committee is excited to announce workout classes for adults (MEN ONLY) in Sparring, Striking and Grappling to help improve self-defense starting *Sunday, January 14, 2024
The classes will be led by Br.Yusuf Sikander who is a black belt in martial arts and has been wrestling for several years.

- Events Planning & Setup (Family, Kids, Eid, etc.)
- Parking & Security
- Managing Supplies

We recognize that our dedicated volunteers spend time away from their families, their work as well as their opportunity for ibadah in order to make things easier for all the ICN community. ICN has recently created the Human Capital Development sub-committee. One of its core mandate is human capital development of ICN's volunteers & staff. We are looking for a dedicated and qualified volunteer to lead this Human Capital Development (HCD) sub-committee. This requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week on an ongoing basis. We invite candidates with minimum 3 years of HR or HC experience and proven ability to lead a small team (mostly volunteers) to apply.
