The reality of this dunya is that we will all pass away. We ask Allah to grant us all a good ending. Allah mentioned that there will be people who want to be sent back at the time of death to give to charity because they realize that their charity can continue to benefit them after they pass away. They will not have the opportunity to return to this dunya, but Alhamdulilah, we have the opportunity and responsibility to think about the legacy we are leaving behind and the investments we are making in our real life, the life of the hereafter. May Allah allow us to use His blessings to benefit others in this dunya and gain jannatul firdaws in the aakhirah. Ameen.
Hadeeth of the Day
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Seven deeds of a servant continue to be rewarded after his death while he is in his grave: knowledge to be learned, constructing a canal, digging a well, planting a date-palm tree, building a mosque, handing down a written copy of the Quran, and leaving a righteous child who seeks forgiveness for him after his death.

The ICN Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee at the Islamic Center of Naperville proudly announces the continuation of our program to teach the Arabic language to the children of the community. Our goal is to help every student love, understand, speak, read, write, communicate, and enjoy the Arabic language. The Rahmah program will focus on all the students' senses to learn. All communications in class will be in Arabic. We will focus on Islamic studies as well as part of the curriculum and will continue to have optional Qur'an classes during the course of the program. In addition, this year, the Arabic class program is also open for non-Arabic speaking children ages 6-8 years.

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified volunteer to lead this Human Capital Development (HCD) sub-committee. This requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
