Alhamdulilah, Allah has honored us to witness the year's best days. The best day is the day of Arafah, the day the Hujjaj will be standing on the plains of Arafa, which will be on Saturday in sha Allah. It is a day to celebrate and rejoice. We should do our best to fast on this day and increase in dhikr and dua. I pray to Allah that He accepts the Hajj of the Hujjaj, makes us all among those who are freed from the fire of hell on the day of Arafah, and brings the Hujjaj back to their houses safely.
Hadeeth of the Day
'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:
The Messenger of Allah () said, "There is no day on which Allah sets free more slaves from Hell than He does on the Day of 'Arafah."
[Muslim].
It was narrated from Abu Qatadah that the Messenger of Allah () said:
"Fasting on the Day of 'Arafah, I hope from Allah, expiates for the sins of the year before and the year after."Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah
Amr bin Shu'aib narrated from his father, from his grandfather that the Prophet () said:
"The best supplication is the supplication of the Day of `Arafah. And the best of what I and the Prophets before me have said is: None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the Praise, and He is powerful over all things. (L ilha illallh, wadahu l sharka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-amdu, wa huwa `al kulli shai'in qadr).' Al-Tirmidhi

In sha Allah the first day of the Islamic month of Dhu'l Hijjah 1445 AH (2024) will be on Friday, June 7th, as per ICN policy for Hajj and Eid ul Adha moonsighting.
These are the best 10 days of the year where good deeds and sadaqah are highly encouraged. Please sign up to donate automatically each day at icnmasjid.org/10days.
The Day of Arafah will be on Saturday June 15th, where fasting is highly encouraged, followed by Eid ul Adha on Sunday June 16th in sha Allah. See flyer below for more details.

Alhamdulillah, Tahfeedh-ul Qur'an program will be continuing with a summer program, for ages 6+ in sha ALLAH, from Monday, June 3, 2024 and will run through Thursday, August 8, 2024.

ICN Children Committee brings you 'FIRST LEGO LEAGUE ROBOTICS' - 10 session program for students currently in 3rd - 7th Grade to ignite their minds to explore the wonderful world of STEM.
Registration is required and is capped at 8 registrations each at Beginner & Advanced level. The registration fee is $100 for 10 sessions. Registrations will close once the program reaches it's intended capacity.

The ICN Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee at the Islamic Center of Naperville proudly announces the continuation of our program to teach the Arabic language to the children of the community. Our goal is to help every student love, understand, speak, read, write, communicate, and enjoy the Arabic language. The Rahmah program will focus on all the students' senses to learn. All communications in class will be in Arabic. We will focus on Islamic studies as well as part of the curriculum and will continue to have optional Qur'an classes during the course of the program. In addition, this year, the Arabic class program is also open for non-Arabic speaking children ages 6-8 years.

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified volunteer to lead this Human Capital Development (HCD) sub-committee. This requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
