Words of Wisdom
Alhamdulilah, we are approaching the month of Ramadan, and have started the month of Shaban. The Prophet used to fast more in Shaban and informed us that many people neglect the month of Shaban. Let us prepare properly for the month of Ramadan by increasing our fast and purifying our hearts and tongues through tawbah and istighfar. We ask Allah to bless us in Shaban and allow us to reach the month of Ramadan.
Hadeeth of the Day
Usamah ibn Zayd reported: I said, O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting any month as much as you fast during Sha'ban. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, It is a month people neglect between the months of Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which the deeds are raised to the Lord of the worlds and I like for my deeds to be raised while I am fasting.

Alhamdulillah, Tahfeedh-ul Qur'an program will be continuing with an Evening Program, for ages 6+ in sha ALLAH, from Tuesday, Sep 5, 2023 and will run through May 23, 2024.
Classes will be held at ICN Ogden masjid between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (boys & girls classes & days are separate).

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified volunteer to lead this Human Capital Development (HCD) sub-committee. This requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
