Salam brothers and sisters,
Ramadan begins tomorrow, March 11, 2024. The first Taraweeh prayer will start tonight, InshaAllah. We hope that you are able to use the Masjids services during this time and are able to have a time of spiritual reflection, increased devotion and worship. We would also like to remind you about some important points for which we will need your help to improve the Masjids activities during Ramadan:
1) Park in Designated Spots Only:
As you know, parking is limited. Please make sure to park in the allowed areas only. These include the banks parking lot after 5pm, the parking lot at the end of Harding Avenue and the parking lot near McDonalds. Please do not park in the banks drive through lanes or in the fire lane near its entrance. Any cars parked in these locations will be towed at the owners expense.
2) Cleanup after Iftar:
InshaAllah with the help of community members, the masjid will be offering iftar dinner starting from the 16th of March until the last day of Ramadan. Please help us by cleaning up after you have had your iftar. Please dispose off any used plates and bottles and keep the area clean. This will be a tremendous help for our volunteers who will arrive several hours before iftar and stay late to clean. Please make their job easy by helping in the cleanup. Remember these brothers and sisters are also fasting and not paid for their service.
3) Supervise kids:
If you plan to bring your kids to the mosque for Taraweeh prayers, please make sure that your kids are being supervised. They should either be standing with you during prayer, or you should be with them at the lower level if they choose to not pray. We love our communitys children and are happy to see them in the masjid but at the same time it is important not to disturb the prayers of the other attendees and the imam.
4) Put shoes in the right place:
As you enter the masjid, please do not leave your shoes by the door or on the carpet. Please ensure to place your shoes on the shoe racks. This keeps the carpets clean and also keeps the entrance tidy. We appreciate all your help in keeping our beloved masjid tidy.
Please remember that for Zuhr, Asr, Maghreb and Isha prayers, the Iqama will be called 10 minutes after the beginning of the prayer time. For Fajr prayers, the iqama will be called 30 minutes after the beginning of the prayer time. Friday prayers will be offered at 1:30pm as always.

We thank you for your cooperation and pray that you have a blessed Ramadan.
