Aayah of the Day
Surah Maarij: Ayat 19-23
70:19-23 Indeed, mankind was created anxious: When evil touches him, impatient, And when good touches him, withholding [of it], Except the observers of prayer Those who are constant in their prayer.
Hadith of the Day
It was narrated that Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah () used to start his prayer by saying:
Subhanaka Allahumma wa bi hamdika, wa tabarakas-muka, wa taala jadduka, wa la ilaha ghairuka
(Glory and praise be to You, O Allah, blessed be Your Name and exalted be Your majesty, none has the right to be worshipped but you).
(Sunan Ibn Majah 804, Book 5, Hadith 2)
