Aayah of the Day
Surah Luqman: Aayat 12
(31:12) We17 bestowed wisdom upon Luqman, (enjoining): Give thanks to Allah.18 Whoso gives thanks to Allah, does so to his own good. And whoso disbelieves (let him know that) Allah is All-Sufficient.
Hadith of the Day
Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari relates that Allahs Messenger (peace be upon him) says: Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan and then follows it with six days of fasting in the month of Shawwal, it will be as if he had fasted the year through. (Sahih Muslim, 1163)
