As Salam Alaikum,

We are reaching out to our beloved community for the support as we embark on an important endeavor together. Over the past six years, our community has nearly tripled in size. Considering the current pace of growth and activities under the guidance of Sheik Attia, we expect it to be doubled by 2027.

With this rapid growth in mind and by the grace of Allah, we are ready to build a Multipurpose facility next to the existing Masjid. This building would provide facilities such as multipurpose hall with a full basketball court, classrooms for Sunday School/ Summer Islamic School, health clinics, and a venue for social events such as aqiqah, nikah, and wedding ceremonies. Our goal is to break ground this year with a full community support and participation.

You may wonder why a Multipurpose facility is crucial at this time. Allow us to present two compelling reasons.

First and foremost is engaging and developing our youth. We require additional space to accommodate our flourishing ICLT Sunday School program. While some may perceive it as merely a gathering for a few children to learn, it is much more than that. Our Sunday School encompasses two valuable initiatives under one umbrella - the educational aspect and the development of our youth as future leaders within the community. By volunteering and engaging in the program, our youth not only deepen their knowledge of the Deen but also hone their leadership skills.

With advice from Sheikh Attia to engage youth and adults further, we have added an indoor multi-sport facility with full basketball court as part of the Multipurpose Hall. This will help us participate in sports activities all year long.

Second, we need a larger venue for our family friendly events, such as Ramadan and other community gatherings. While utilizing outdoor spaces has sufficed in the past, approaching colder weather poses a challenge. Without the multipurpose hall in the near future, we risk being unable to accommodate iftar dinners and other essential activities during Ramadan. Therefore, the responsibility of building Multipurpose facility falls upon us all.

Moreover, the multipurpose hall will provide the necessary space for future Friday prayers, Isha/Taraweeh prayers, and Eid prayers. This inclusion ensures that our community has a dedicated space for these essential religious activities, fostering a stronger sense of unity and spiritual growth among our members. This space will also be available for private community events and ceremonies such as aqiqah or nikah.

We humbly request each and every one of you to contribute generously at our fundraiser in this holy month of Ramadan. Together, let us ensure the growth and sustainability of our community for generations to come. Your support is not just a donation; it is an investment in our collective future in Dunya and Akhirah.
