Last week, ICOI launched the "Power up for Ramadan" campaign, a unique initiative focused on enhancing community bonds and deepening our spiritual roots in the 60 days leading up to Ramadan. The campaign emphasizes three key principles: enriching our souls with the Quran, fortifying through Fasting, and cleansing through Salawat on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
One week into the campaign, we are delighted to report enthusiastic participation and contributions from our community. Here's a snapshot of the progress in the first week:
MashaALLAH, the community has collectively sent 14,416 Salawat to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We are thankful to Allah as this puts us on trajectory to surpass our 60-day target of 100,000 Salawat.
While 848 pages of the Quran have been read, which is slightly below our weekly target, we remain hopeful in Allah's will that we can accelerate our efforts to meet our goal.
There is room for improvement in fasting, with 21 days accomplished against a weekly goal of 100. So let's work on it collectively and report our progress.
It's inspiring to see our community unite in these acts of spirituality, seeking Allah's mercy. Let's continue to build a community illuminated by the teachings of the Quran, the discipline of fasting, and the blessings of Salawat on the Prophet (PBUH).
