I hope this message finds you in the best of health and iman. As we continue to embrace the blessings of our community, I am writing to inform you about some temporary adjustments to our regular prayer schedule and facilities due to the upcoming ICOI Women's Conference.
ICOI Women's Conference - Saturday, November 18, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
1. Venue for Women's Conference: The main Musala will be hosting the ICOI Women's Conference from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. This event is a significant opportunity for our sisters to engage in beneficial knowledge and community bonding.
2. Prayer Arrangements for Brothers: During the conference, the main Musala will be accessible to brothers only for Jamah prayers through the side door on the left of the Masjid (see picture below). This will open up to the first two rows of the musala.
The doors open for our brothers during the following times:
Duhr Prayer: 1:00 PM (enter) - 1:35 PM (exit)
Asr Prayer: 3:05 PM (enter) - 3:40 PM (exit)
Maghrib Prayer: 4:45 PM (enter)
Note: Outside of these times, the Musala will be reserved for our sisters attending the conference.
The MPR will be open for the brothers throughout the day.
3. Parking Information (see picture below for details):
- ICOI Premise: 100 spots (priority given to disabled parking)
- New Horizon Premise: 40 spots
- Along the street to ICOI and New Horizon: 15 spots on both sides
- Park & Ride Location: 170 spots at the intersection of Walnut Ave. & Jeffrey Dr., with a shuttle running all day to ICOI
Note: Parking is not allowed at the Chinese Center or Barun Academy.
We understand these changes might require some adjustments in your usual routine, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding in ensuring a successful and inclusive event for our sisters.
