As we embrace the final nights of Ramadan, a period marked by heightened devotion, reflection, and prayer, its important to recognize the profound opportunity it presents. These nights are a time when our prayers, duaas, and efforts are believed to have an exponential impact, shaping not only the remainder of our year but our future at large. It is in these nights that we are encouraged to seek Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Decree, better than a thousand months, where deeds are magnified in their reward and impact.
Just as we strive to maximize our personal acts of worship, we are also called to consider how our contributions can foster growth and prosperity within our community. Allah (SWT) tells us about the power of giving in a simple yet beautiful way: The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. (Quran, 2:261). Imagine your donation to the ICOI Village as a tiny seed. Just like a seed grows into a plant that can feed many people, your donation can help our community grow in so many ways.
When you give to the ICOI Village, its like planting a seed that creates endless good things. It helps us bring in more students to learn the Quran, spread the message of Islam further, make more room for people to pray, start more classes about Islam, help our young people learn and grow, support businesses run by Muslims, and make our communitys bonds stronger and more meaningful.
In these last few days of Ramadan, when our prayers and good deeds mean even more, lets also think about giving in a way that will keep on giving. The ICOI Village isnt just a project; its our hope for a future where our community is a lively place full of learning and growth, all starting from the seeds we plant today.
We invite you to reflect on the blessings of these last nights and to consider making a donation to the ICOI Village project. Whether you can contribute the suggested $3,000 or commit to $50 a week, your generosity will sow seeds of continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) that will blossom for generations to come. Translate your intentions into action by donating now. Let this act of giving be a testament to your faith and a contribution to our collective future.
May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers, fasts, and contributions, and may He multiply the rewards of your generosity.
