Visitation for Br. Syed Baleegh Ahmed
On Saturday March 2nd
Surely We all Belong to Allah and Unto Him We Shall Return
It is with my deepest sorrow and heavy heart that we wish to announce the passing of Br. Syed Baleegh Ahmed, on Friday Feb 9th 2024, in Karachi, Pakistan.
He was the father of Br. Syed Waqar Ahmed, and father-in-law of sister Sana Arif Ahmed. He is survived by his wife Ishrat Sultana, also his son, Syed Wasif Ahmed, and his daughter, Unaiza, Munazzah, Faiza, Muneeza and Naima.
May Allah Subhana wa Taala have mercy upon his soul, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him Jannat al Firdous, Ameen!
Please pray for him and keep him and the family in your du`as.
اَللّٰھُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَیِّنَا وَ مَیِّتِنَا وَ صَغِیْرِنَا وَ کَبِیْرِنَا وَ
ذَکَرِنَا وَ اُنْثَانَا وَ شَاھِدِنَا وَ غَائِبِنَا، اَللّٰھُمَّ مَنْ اَحْیَیْتَهُ مِنَّا فَاَحْیِهِ عَلَی الْاِیْمَانِ وَ مَنْ تَوَفَّیْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَی الْاِسْلَامِ، اَللّٰھُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا اَجْرَهُ وَ لَا تُضِلَّنَا بَعْدَهُ۔
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our young and our old, our menfolk and our womenfolk, those who are present and those who are absent. O Allah, whomever you give life from among us give him life in Faith, and whomever you take away from us take him away in Islām. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward (for supplicating for the deceased), and do not lead us astray after him.
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Whosoever attends the funeral of a Muslim believing and hoping for the reward from Allah and remains with it until the prayer is offered over it and the burial is completed, he will return with a reward of two Qirat; each Qirat is equivalent to Mount Uhud; and whosoever offers his prayer over it and returns before its burial, he will come back with one Qirat.'' Al-Bukhari.
