Recap of Playground Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Assalaamu aleykum Dear ICGC Community Members,

We pray that this email finds you well and blessed! We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your participation in the recent playground ribbon-cutting ceremony at ICGC.

Your presence and support made the event truly special, and we are thrilled to share a recap of the memorable day.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held yesterday, Sunday March 3rd, marked the official opening of our new playground, a project made possible through the generous contributions of our community members and partners. Here are some highlights from the event:

  1. Qur'an Recitation by Shaykh Mahmoud Khalil

  2. Ribbon Cutting: Board Chair Tariq Sultan, Br. Ali Salahudeen, Imam Hossam Musa, Shaykh Mahmoud Khalil, Br. Ahmed Elkady, and ED Henry Hane joined forces to cut the ribbon, symbolizing the official opening of the playground. It was a moment of celebration and joy as attendees cheered and applauded.

  3. Closing Du'a by Imam Hossam Musa

  4. Community Celebration: Following the ribbon-cutting, attendees enjoyed the beautiful weather and some refreshments. It was a beautiful sight to behold that no sooner did we cut the ribbon than the kids in attendance dashed to the playground for an opportunity to explore it and experience firsthand the joy it will bring to children in our community.

We are thrilled with the positive feedback we have received from attendees and look forward to seeing the playground become a cherished gathering place for families in our community.

Once again, thank you for your support and participation in the playground ribbon-cutting ceremony. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of children and families.

Warm regards,

Tariq Sultan Henry Hane

Board Chair Executive Director
