The Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati (ICGC) is the Spiritual Oasis for Muslim Americans, Living Islam through Worship, Education, Service, Leadership, and Outreach.
Assalaamu aleykum Dear Esteemed ICGC Members and Supporters,
As we reflect on the past year's journey, I cannot help but be filled with immense pride and gratitude for all that we have accomplished together. Through the dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment of our community, ICGC has continued to thrive, even amidst unprecedented challenges.
In the face of adversity, we have remained steadfast in our mission to uplift lives through services that encompass every step of journey of life for the different segments of our community. Our annual report serves as a testament to the remarkable progress we have made and the positive impact we have had on the lives of those we serve.
Throughout the year, we have achieved significant milestones, including robust educational programs, engaging and prioritizing our youth, being there for our community members when they need a lift through various programs and services such as social services, community services, professional services, social events, sports, spiritual support,mental health resources, advocacy as well as logistical improvements that includes parking expansion, technology upgrades, and a new playground for our youngest.These accomplishments are a testament to the collective efforts and collaboration of our team, volunteers, partners, and supporters.
2023 was also a year when we, as Muslims, faced one of the most difficult tests with the brutal persecution and massacre of our brothers and sisters in Palestine and some other parts of the world.That heartbreaking and painful experience called for a swift and strong support for our oppressed brothers and sisters through both advocacy and supportive programs at ICGC. And we continue to stand with our brother and sisters until their oppression is ceased.
May Allah continue to put barakah in our work! May Allah replenish our faith, energy, and resources and use us to bring positive contributions to people's spiritual, socioeconomic, mental, and physical wellbeing! May Allah bless our community and all of those who have dedicated themselves to serving the ICGC community in various meaningful ways! Ameen!
