It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts we share the passing of Syeda Akhterunnisa, mother of community member Sister Ameena Taher and mother-in-law of Taher Jaleel, this afternoon in Bangalore.

Please make dua for her maghfirah. May Allah SWT forgive her shortcomings; accept her good deeds; elevate her status; enlighten and widen her grave; and make her journey easy from here, onwards to Jannah.
