We encourage East Lasing residents to kindly sign this petition urging the City Council to support the Congressional and Worldwide calls for a Ceasefire in Gaza and to allow Humanitarian Aid into Gaza.

Bus from Islamic Center of East Lansing to Washington DC
March on Washington for Gaza | Rally at 1 pm on Jan 13
The Islamic Center of East Lansing is facilitating a road trip organized by community members to attend the March on Washington for Gaza. The bus will depart from the Islamic Center at 9 pm, Friday, January 12.
Bus tickets are $150 per person and be purchased online.

When purchasing, please note that the contribution fee is charged by the ticketing system provider and not the Islamic Center. It is a voluntary donation and you can change it from $0 to any amount you wish to donate to Zeffy.
Reservation are on first-come-first-served basis.
Ticket sales will be closed once the bus capacity is reached. Those interested in attending this rally are also encouraged to join this WhatsApp group to stay informed.

Volunteer Training | Saturday, January 13 | 4pm to 6pm | at the Islamic Center
Movie NIghts | Ages 4-11 on January 19 and Ages 11-18 on Jan 26
Join us in the Masjid for our first 2024 Movie night for ages 4-11. We will be watching the animated White Fang film, which is a story about survival and strength and how with good moral and character one can traverse the world and overcome great odds. It teaches about courage and kindness.
Youth of all ages are welcome, as are parents, but due to the nature of the film it is recommended for this age group. It will be $5 in cash upon entry for each child, popcorn pizza snacks and drinks will be provided. The film will begin at 5:15 it is recommended attendees arrive at 5:00 and we will finish the film around 8:00 pm. We will break for Maghrib and Isha prayers.
Each child is encouraged to bring a pillow and blanket because they will be sitting on the floor, although both genders are welcome they will be separated. Any parent who wishes to stay and watch the film is welcome to do so.
