Islamophobia and Antisemitism Study | Participants wanted
To address the current rise in Islamophobia and antisemitism, I am conducting an IRB-approved study interviewing Arab-, Muslim-, and Palestinian-, Jewish-, and Israeli Americans about how they have been impacted by the violence in Gaza.
I am interviewing Arab Americans, Muslim Americans, and Palestinian Americans with the aim of using this information to create educational materials that center the voices of those who have been most impacted.
Participation would entail setting up a 60-minute interview via Webex at a time of your convenience.
If you are not interested or available but are willing to disseminate this flyer to recruit those who may be interested in participating, that would be helpful, too. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you for your time and attention,
Lauren Shure, Ph.D., LMHC, BC-TMH, Professor of Counseling
Past-President of Counselors for Social Justice (2019-2020)
