Speaker Profile: Imam Jawad Ahmed has a Bachelors degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Maryland College Park. He also has a Bachelors degree in Usool UdDeen from the International Islamic University of Islamabad where he specialized in Tafseer and Hadith and received Ijazahs (traditional licenses) from Al Azhar University in Egypt. He has been Imam and Director in various New Jersey masajid such as Darul Islah Teaneck and ISNJ as well as Director of Islamic Studies at Al-Ghazaly Islamic High School for more than 8 years. Imam Jawad is one of the pioneers of the National Dawah Organization 1-877-Whyislam and has been managing the hotline of more than 25 volunteers for the last 20 years and has had more than 200 Shahadahs over the phone himself Alhamdulillah. Currently, he is the Religious Director of the Muslim Community of New Jersey in Fords NJ as well as the Religious Director of Masjid Wali in Edison NJ and has been giving khutba and lectures at both masajid in Central Jersey.
