We hope this email finds you well.  Alhamdulillah, yesterday we got the approval from the East Brunswick township to open the doors of our new mosque.  Insha'Allah, we will have our first Taraweeh Sunday/Monday night at our mosque located at 402 New Brunswick Ave., East Brunswick, NJ.  Ramadan is such a significant time for the Muslims around the world and celebrating it in a new mosque will be a deeply meaningful experience for our community.

This project was a dream for us and Alhamdulillah, Allah has granted us to see it become a reality.  This has been achieved firstly with the blessings of Allah and secondly with the community support and cooperation, which includes everyone who had played any role (financially, morally, or physically) irrespective of their involvement from the time when it was a Musallah within a Church, project inception and now to the completion.   

To celebrate this great milestone, we have planned a soft-opening on this Sunday, March 10th after Dhur which is scheduled at 2 pm Insha'Allah.  We have also invited Mayor Brad Cohen and other town officials to join us in celebrating this great occasion.  Please join us to start a new chapter in East Brunswick Muslim community life.

May Allah reward you for all your Duas and financial contributions.  Please make special dua for all people who were involved in the planning, construction, and management of the project.

Light refreshments will be served at the event and you are welcome to bring something to share.
