Dear brothers and sisters Assalamu Alaikum,
Alhamdulillah, Allah SWT has blessed me with another opportunity to serve the community for the 5th term as President of the Islamic Center of East Brunswick.
As an incoming President, my main goal will be to complete the ongoing construction project and start regular mosque operations. With the generous support of the community, our dream of a new mosque is about to be realized very soon.
Insha'Allah, we will start our regular programs and add new programs specifically focused on our youth. We need volunteers and support from the community to help us arrange these activities and events. Some of the priorities will include:
- Completion of the construction project of the mosque
- Selection of an Imam
- Resumption of regular programs such as Daily Prayers, Jummah Prayers, Dars, Ramadan
- Activities, Womens Programs, Youth Programs, Sunday School, etc.
- Finalizing the plans for next-door property
- Collect funds to support the mosque operations and pay off the house next door.
Assisting me in achieving these goals is an Administration supported by dedicated community members. As a team, we will be collectively responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of the Masjid as well as focusing on our specific responsibilities.
