Asalaamu Alaikum,

The first Khutba on Friday, March 22nd will be delivered by Mufti Abdul Rahman Waheed. Khutba will be at 1:30pm. Iqama will be at 2pm, In Sha Allah.

The second Khutba will be delivered by Imam Baseer Faiz at 3:00pm. The Iqama will be at 3:30pm, In Sha Allah.

Mufti Abdul Rahman's Bio:

Mufti Abdul Rahman Waheed was born and raised in Lansing, MI. As a youth, he displayed zeal and enthusiasm to involve himself in the religious sciences. At just 9 years of age, Mufti Abdul Rahman went to Toronto, Canada to pursue his dreams of becoming a Hafidh of the Holy Qur'an. Within a year, he completed the memorization of the Qur'an. He was known to be from among the most intelligent students in the school. He continued his 7 year Shariah program in which he studied a variety of subjects such as Hadith, Tafseer, Usool al-Hadith, logic, rhetoric by the age of 18. Thereafter, Mufti Abdul Rahman traveled to Pakistan to continue his passion to seek knowledge where he completed his 2 year Iftaa program which specializes in Islamic Jurisprudence and Law. He is legally permitted to pass a Fatwa or verdict. He is known for his passion and dedication to learning and teaching the lost history of Islam and provides detailed insight on how Muslims lived throughout the different eras of history. Mufti Abdul Rahman gives insight to various literature in the Islamic world. Mufti Abdul Rahman is serving as a principal and is a full-time instructor at Michigan Islamic Institute, the brother organization of Miftaah Institute. He travels across North America as a khateeb and lecturer. He is well-known for his calm and down-to-Earth demeanor.

Join the DMS and ICC Muslimah for a night of sisterhood and spirituality. Our annual Girls Qiyam will begin the night of Saturday, March 23rd (10PM) and end Sunday morning, March 22nd after Fajr Salah inshallah. Engage in prayer and Suhoor with friends! All girls 12+ are welcome.

In the past several days, over one thousand people were killed in Gaza strip, over five thousand people injured and over 200 thousand people were displaced from their homes seeking a safer refuge. Our team on the ground in Gaza is in direct contact with the doctors and hospitals and assessing their needs and working diligently to address them. Before the complete closure, we were able to secure medical supplies we were able to dispense these immediately. Our team is still working hard to procure the needed supplies from the local market but those are depleting very quickly. At the moment, there is a complete blockade on all ports of entry to Gaza, and we are working around the clock and collaborating with other major international organizations who work in Gaza to assess the needs and be ready to deliver your donations once humanitarian aid is allowed access. We ask you to donate generously as the list of needs that we are receiving from hospitals is extensive, and the healthcare system is struggling at the moment and overwhelmed by the number of casualties. PAMA promises to deliver your donations and directly implement them as soon as possible.
