Asalaamu Alaikum,
The first Khutba on Friday, January 26th will be delivered by Imam Baseer Faiz. Khutba will be at 1:30pm. Iqama will be at 2pm, In Sha Allah.
The second Khutba will also be delivered by Imam Baseer Faiz at 3:00pm. The Iqama will be at 3:30pm, In Sha Allah.
ACT READY! The ACT Test Prep Course

Welcome to ACT READY! The ACT Test Prep Course at Dayton Mercy Society in collaboration with Islamic Society of Greater Society. We had such a great turn out last time that we have decided to add another one month session. This intensive course conducted by a master coach will prepare high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors for the ACT college entrance exam. Students learn test-taking strategies and essential knowledge for the four test sections of English, Math, Reading, and Science. As we cover test-taking methods geared specifically for the ACT and review homework assignments, students will gain confidence in their test-taking abilities and strengthen their knowledge in the core areas of grammar, reading comprehension, algebra, and geometry. A few points on this important exam can make all the difference on a college application! To stay cost effective, there be no required book. Students will be required to print a 25 page double-sided test from a pdf file, which will be sent ahead of time.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Sean Simon, PhD is owner of Simon Academy Tutoring in Dayton, Ohio. He has been coaching test success on the ACT, SAT, and PSAT in groups and one-on-one for over 15 years. Sean has a B.A. from Duke University in the Legal and Ethical Implications of Science, M.A. from the University of Amsterdam in Philosophy and Cultural Analysis, and PhD from New York University in Performance Studies. In the past several days, over one thousand people were killed in Gaza strip, over five thousand people injured and over 200 thousand people were displaced from their homes seeking a safer refuge. Our team on the ground in Gaza is in direct contact with the doctors and hospitals and assessing their needs and working diligently to address them. Before the complete closure, we were able to secure medical supplies we were able to dispense these immediately. Our team is still working hard to procure the needed supplies from the local market but those are depleting very quickly. At the moment, there is a complete blockade on all ports of entry to Gaza, and we are working around the clock and collaborating with other major international organizations who work in Gaza to assess the needs and be ready to deliver your donations once humanitarian aid is allowed access. We ask you to donate generously as the list of needs that we are receiving from hospitals is extensive, and the healthcare system is struggling at the moment and overwhelmed by the number of casualties. PAMA promises to deliver your donations and directly implement them as soon as possible.
